Good couple of days

I had an early start on the allotment yesterday i was they at 5:30 in the morning, i got what i wanted to do and a little more done as well. I managed to water everything yesterday so all have had a good drink,i have planted my cucumber plants into grow bags but will take one plant out so its not over crowded. The celery and courgettes are coming on a pretty good now that they have been re potted, I've  put up some fleece up in the greenhouse to protect the plants from the sun, just so they don't get burnt during the day. Also done quite a bit of weeding around the allotment 1 to remove the weeds and 2 to loosen the soil so if we do get some rain it doesn't sit on the crusty soil. I have also planted some more iceberg lettuce and carrots to see if these grow better than the other ones planted a while ago.

I have been this week.

Been to the allotment a few times this week but not had chance to blog it, so will make up for it now and will blog later when i go this afternoon. The sugar snap peas are coming through so i have put some netting around them to stop the birds from taking them, also put some netting over my Red cabbage - sprouts and turnips to fend of the birds. My Dwarf beans are not looking very good every since i put them in the soil its been windy every since and all the leaves have come off, so i have 2 rows of bare stems of beans hopefully they will grow back.
I have managed to plant 6 tom plants in grow bags inside the green house and 3 plants in a grow bag at home, so that leaves me with 3 more plants to sort out.  I have re potted the courgettes this week into bigger pots because they getting to big for the pots they in at the moment, only due to sowing them quite early and putting too many in to grow at once have learnt my lesson so a little at a time.

I went to the allotment yesterday and re-potted some flowers i have growing in the greenhouse, which are Dahlia-Petunia-Marigold flower i think that's the re-potting done for a while. I think i over did it yesterday by putting all of the rubbish in the skip, good job i just had to sort the flowers out.

Good Clear Out.

We had a skip dropped of by the council on Friday so we can get rid of some rubbish from our plots, i took quite a bit on Friday night and did the rest on Saturday. I must of took about 20 wheelbarrow loads of rubbish and half a dozen dust bin loads, i knew i must of taking a bit of rubbish cos i am a little tired this morning. We thought the skip the council dropped off would be a walk in skip but it wasn't, it was a trailer of a back of a tractor and it was over 5ft high so it was hard throwing the rubbish in. We cant grumble because they didn't have to give us a skip we could of took the rubbish to the local dump, or just left it on our allotments till it went missing or got moved.I managed to clear the rubbish from in front of the shed and the rubbish from the back of the allotment, like the old compost bin, weeds, old trees stumps and general rubbish.

Nice Clear Area.

Need to find more time.

Been to the allotment over the last few days and got some more done re-planted some of the veg i have growing in the greenhouse,i have left some of it a little to late but will see if they will recover. I am too busy doing little bits here and not enough time over the other side were i should be, but i will soon learn my lesson when everything goes tits up and nothing grows.I need to try and make more time and get to the allotment more often,or try and not gab as much then i will get more done.
